About the series

The DPE Victorian Country Series is a karting racing series held throughout regional Victoria and is organised by Karting Victoria and it associated clubs.

In 2021 the clubs that host a round of the DPE Victorian Country Series include South West Kart Club, Warrnambool Kart Club, Portland Kart Club, Wimmera Kart Club, Hamilton Kart Club and the Ballarat Kart Club.

Since its inception the Victorian Country Series has attracted on average 200+ competitors per round making it one of the most popular and successful karting series regularly held in Australia.

Drivers who have competed in the series and have gone on to have success at higher levels of motorsport include Supercar drivers Anton DePasquale, Scott Pye, Todd Hazelwood, Rick Kelly and Scott McLaughlin who now competes in Indycar and sprint car drivers Corey McCullagh and James McDonald.

From Cadets to Juniors to Seniors and Masters there is sure to be a class to suit you.

Competitors

Entries are open to all KA licence holders, including from outside Victoria.  The series has had regularly competitors from South Australia, New South Wales, Tasmania and even as far as the Northern Territory.

Race Format

3 practice sessions (1 timed), 1 qualifying session, 2 heats and final. Final determines final round result and trophy recipients for the round.

Supp Regs

All event Supplementary Regulations can be accessed via the Karting Victoria Supp Regs page. Supp Regs are usually released 1 to 2 months prior to the meeting.

Entries

Entries for each round usually close the Monday or Wednesday night prior to the event.
*Please check event Supp Regs for confirmation of entry close. No late entries can be accepted.
*Entries open usually upon release of Supp Regs

Spectators

Spectators are usually welcome to Victorian Country Series events, however due to the COVID pandemic it is always best to check with the club for their latest restriction status regarding spectators. Karting Australia has setup COVID regulations and at a minimum require QR checkin upon entry.

Parking
Parking is usually available at designated car park spots at our kart clubs.

Canteen 
Our Kart clubs canteen are fully catered so be sure to grab a bite to eat and pull of a chair, bench, seat in a stand or spot on the grass to take in all of the exciting racing action.
