This weekends racing is Round 4 of the 2017 Austrans Victorian Country Series being held at the Wimmera Kart Racing Club Inc, Dooen Raceway, 650 Henty Hwy, Dooen (Horsham) on July 16th.
Pre-entries close Wednesday 9pm, (12/7/2017), late entries close Saturday 2:30pm sharp (15/7/2017).
It’s been an exciting opening 3 rounds of VCS racing with big fields of drivers competing in close racing across all classes at the Ballarat Kart Club, South West Kart Club and Portland District Karting Club rounds and this is set to continue in the Wimmera.
Round 4 marks the start of the second half of this years series which means there is still a lot of racing ahead and plenty of points still on the board available for all drivers to grab and help improve their positions in the overall series placings.

Timed Qualifying will occur (Kart order will be random – no high/low numbers)
Qualifying
One Qualifying Session of 6 minutes
Heats
There will be 2 heats.
The Grid for Heat 1 will be set from times achieved in Qualifying, with fastest time on Grid 1 and so on.
The Grid for Heat 2 will be set from finishing order of heat 1
Final
The grid for the final will be set from combined points of heat 1 & 2, highest points to pole, etc.
