There has been some questions about rear bar requirements from 1 Jan 2016
From the rule book page 131:
2016 for any meetings ( i.e. race meetings) a CIK-FIA Homologated Rear Impact protection device must be fitted.
For ANY level race meeting the CIK/FIA plastic bar is compulsory.
Existing rear bars can be used for practice any other days excluding race meeting listed practice days.
