Qualifying

#4 Phil Smith (Go Kart Club of Victoria) set the pace during qualifying posting a time of 44.704 narrowly edging out local Eastern Lions driver #6 Steven Riddell by .070 of a second and #18 Vern Kranz (Oakleigh Go Kart Racing Club) also within a tenth of pole in the TAG 125 Masters class. Heat 2

For most the weekend #4 Phil Smith and #6 Steven Riddell were having a great battle throughout all the heats of racing in the TAG 125 Masters class. (pic by Tim Francis)

Final

#4 Phil Smith (Go-Kart Club of Victoria) qualified on pole and won all 3 heats and took out the 18 lap final victory in the TAG 125 Masters class by just .307 seconds from #6 Steven Riddell (ELKC) with both having a great battle throughout the weekends racing with #54 Geoff Wyhoon 3rd.
