4 Victorians take victories in the 2017 Rotax Pro Tour and will now represent Australia in Portugal

The 2017 Rotax Pro Tour Series came to end last weekend at the Albury-Wodonga Kart Club and after 6 rounds of racing across Australia 4 Victorian drivers came out on top and have been crowned Australian Rotax Champions in their individual classes.

Bendigo Kart Clubs Harry Arnett #40 won the Micro max class championship, Eastern Lions Kart Clubs James Wharton #1 coming out on top in the Mini Max class championship, Go-Kart Club of Victoria’s Bradley Jenner #94 winning the Rotax 125 Light class championship and Go-Kart Club of Victoria’s Troy Woolston #9 taking the honours in the DD2 Masters class championship.

Mini Max driver Hugh Barter #68 who was awarded the coveted Jason Richards Memorial Award and became the first Sub-Junior and first non-Senior driver to be awarded the Award.

As an award for winning the Rotax Pro Tour Series these drivers have earned themselves the right to become apart of the 14 driver Team Australia that will be head across for the Rotax World Championship Grand Finale event taking place in Portimao, Portugal November 4-11.
