The final round of the 2022 Victorian Country Series was held at Ballarat Kart Clubs Haddon Park Raceway on the weekend with over 180 entries, with a practice day for those who wanted some extra track time held at the track on the Friday.
With a huge prize pool on the line for the overall championship positions the racing would be close with many classes going down to the line to decide the eventual overall series winners and placegetters.
A dark stormy sky greeted the competitors on Saturday morning with the anticipated heavy racing hitting the circuit just as the first heats were due to begin with spanners working overtime throughout the afternoon and weekend as drivers made last minute calls on either wet or dry tyres as conditions changed across the weekend throughout.
