Glenn Riddell entered the final round with a 17 point championship lead over Phil Smith with Steven Riddell 28 points behind the leader, Stephen Simpson and Vern Kranz were also still in championship contention.

Heat 1
In heat 1 the finishing placings were unusual in that they finished exactly as they started with every driver in the 7 kart field remaining in their starting position, Glenn Riddell taking the win from Steven Riddell and Phil Smith 3rd.
Heat 2
After a close battle early on Glenn Riddell was able to get clear of the field crossing the line 2.3 seconds ahead of Steven Riddell who had a great scrap passing each other multiple times in the final stages.

Pre Final
Steven Riddell suffered an unfortunate “did not start” in the pre final leaving Glenn Riddell to take the win by 5 seconds ahead of Smith and Brendan Myors in 3rd.

Final
Again in the 18 lap final it was Glenn Riddell who cleared away from the field taking the win by 4.6 seconds from Steven Riddell and Phil Smith in 3rd.
