LET'S GET BACK TO RACING,

BACK TO KARTING!

State Administrator Pam Arnett is retiring from her position

One of the longest serving members of the sport of Karting in Australia Pam Arnett is retiring from her position as State Administrator on 14th July 2022.

Pam’s contribution to our sport extends beyond her contributions as the State Administrator including but aren’t limited to:

• State Secretary for 30 continuous years;
• Karting Australia National Secretary from 29 August 2003 to 31 August 2013;

Pam is held in the highest esteem at all levels of the sport Australia wide and her contributions have been recognised at National, State and Club levels. Pam was inducted as a life member of Karting Australia on 22 August 2008, and Pam is a life member of both the Victorian Karting Association and the Bendigo Kart Club.

We are fortunate that this contribution will be ongoing in her voluntary roles, but we thank Pam for her stellar efforts and recognise the positive influence she has had on the sport in her time as the State Administrator.

Pam has been instrumental in all aspects of running the Association, from liaising with all licence holders, with Karting Australia, and with the other State Associations to maintaining day-to-day office duties. There have been challenges along the way and, without exception, Pam rose to every one of them and helped the association navigate through them.

I am sure that you will no doubt join us in wishing Pam all the best in her retirement, and in congratulating her on her remarkable achievements and for her valuable contributions to The Victorian Karting Association.

When you see Pam at a race meeting, please be sure to take the opportunity to thank her in person.

Yours in karting,
Russell White.
