The last Club Day of 2017 was run and won at 12 kart clubs around the state at the weekend with a total of just under 400 drivers and their teams joining in at traditionally the biggest Club Day of the year.
Many clubs celebrated their Club Champions for the year and got into the festive end of year spirit, with the Eastern Lions Kart Club running their Club Finals day in reverse along with the Go-Kart Club of Victoria running their Club Gold Cup event also in the opposite direction. South West Kart Club held the South West Games while the Wimmera Kart Club held a test and tune day.
The weather has not favoured the sport on many of the Club Days this year and this continued on the weekend with the weather producing the forecast thunder and lightning storms across both days with some parts of Victoria also receiving heavy hail.
