Qualifying
#40 Harry Arnett (Bendigo Kart Club) showed some great speed in qualifying to secure pole position in the Cadet 9 class by the narrowest of margins .068 of a second from #14 Toby Dvork and #21 Rusty Ponting also only .078 of a second off pole with only 2 tenths separating the top 5 and 1 second separating the entire field of the young drivers. Final
#21 Rusty Ponting (South West Kart Club) showed some excellent driving across the weekend to take his first victory at state level on the tricky drying track of the Cadet 9 15 lap final ahead of #9 Caleb Spence 2nd and #36 Thomas Schmidt 3rd who just edgd out #8 Kristian Janev at the line by 2 tenths of a second.
