From the Ballarat Kart Club.
Welcoming drivers and fans from across the state for an action-packed weekend of karting, Ballarat Kart club is pumped for the 2025 4SS State Trophy Event on November 22–23 at the newly redeveloped facility.
This year’s event carries special significance as it will be the first major championship meeting held on the newly redeveloped Ballarat Kart Club circuit extension. The upgraded track layout has been designed to deliver greater racing opportunities, more overtaking zones, and a smoother, faster flow — all of which are set to raise the standard of competition to new heights.
Club President Justin Malcolm said the redevelopment marks a milestone for the club and local motorsport.
“Our track extension has been years in the making, and we’re thrilled to finally showcase it at the 4SS State Trophy. Drivers are going to love the new challenges the layout brings, and we can’t wait to see some incredible racing as a result.”
The 2025 4SS State Trophy promises to be more than just racing, with a full weekend program designed for both competitors and spectators:
Saturday Morning Practice – Drivers will fine-tune their setups ahead of official racing.
Saturday Night Spit Roast – A social highlight bringing the karting community together.
Free Camping & Hot Showers – Making it easy for families and teams to settle in for the weekend.
Full Class Offering – All KA support classes available, with KA3 and TAG125 running at championship weights.
The organising committee highlighted the community spirit behind the weekend.
“Karting is about more than competition — it’s about camaraderie, family, and fun. With free camping, hot meals, and the excitement of racing on a brand-new track, this event will be a true celebration of grassroots motorsport.”
The Ballarat Kart Club invites competitors, families, and motorsport enthusiasts alike to experience one of the most anticipated karting events of the year.
